Dartmoor Challenge
An end of season golf competition is held at the home club of the previous season’s winners of each League in rotation. Each club enters a team of 2 pairs and the winners are the team with the highest 3 Stableford scores. An individual prize is also awarded. Following the golf is a buffet supper and the presentation of the season’s trophies including the Peter Pearman Memorial Shield for the winners of League One. Presentation of trophies will follow.
This will all happen on 11th October 2026 at Bovey Castle GC.
Captains' Day
Captains and organizers of all 18 teams in the Dartmoor League meet before the season to have “their day out”. The 2026 event will be held at Teignmouth GC on Sunday 22nd March. **RESULTS -click**
4 Ball Team Event
One team from each club. The 2026 event will be held at Dainton Park GC on Sunday 26th July.
DML Spring Kick Off Day
Each club may field a team of 6 players who play in a Stableford better ball pairs with the best 2 scores from each club to count. The aim is to visit a course outside the Dartmoor League. The 2026 meeting will be at Bigbury GC on Sunday 19th April when players will also compete for a special trophy in memory of Glenn Richards, a much-loved friend of the Dartmoor League, who sadly passed away during 2021.
Champion of Champions
The tournament to determine the Champion of all Devon League Champions.

Summer Cups (Charity Day)
One team of 4 players from each club. The 2026 event will be held at Dartmouth GCC on Sunday 28th June.
Mixed Tournament
A popular annual social event. Three mixed teams from each of the member clubs compete for the Mixed Trophy. The format is Greensomes Stableford and the winners are the team with the highest aggregate score. Golf is followed by a 2-course meal and presentation of prizes. The Trophy is presented at the end of season Presentation Night. This years date is Sunday 10th May at Honiton GC.
